You can lose weight - but it's up to you to take the simple
daily actions that will make losing weight a habit. You, and you alone, are
responsible for what you eat. Quit eating unhealthy, fattening foods cold turkey
or wean yourself off. Both work and are completely valid.
Choose what works
better for you and start your own healthy habits today. Start making these
changes now - this very moment. There is never a “best moment” to start losing
weight. The best time is now.
Most people will just keep thinking about making changes.
Thinking about change and talking about change don't make a difference. You
need to get to the execution phrase. Action is what produces change.
Procrastination only leads to more excuses. If you take the first step today, you will have done the hardest thing that you will need to do - overcome inertia. Start losing weight now.
You can do it.
Thank you for sharing strategies for losing weights on your blog and motivating those who are not there yet.
ReplyDeleteMost people procrastinate. If you ask people why they procrastinate, you possibly may hear the real reasons. More than likely, though, you will hear their excuses. When an excuse sounds believable, it has a name - rationalization. It is its believability that makes rationalizing the original mind game. It's what you do in your thinking and feeling to explain away why your actions don't match up to your values and plans. It is the excuse you give yourself for your actions. It may seem reasonable but it does not reflect the real reason.
ReplyDeleteSo many of us want to lose weight but we lack the discipline and motivation. The key is to do something.
ReplyDeleteIt’s easy to say: you can do it. It is much harder to actually do it. Losing weight, even avoiding gaining it, is hard work. It’s a struggle for me. Not easy at all.
ReplyDeleteLosing weight is challenging, but you can do it... especially with support of others. Try to find friend who can help you along the way!
DeleteI'm trying. It is not that easy.
ReplyDeleteChange isn't always easy. and it's even harder when you're going it alone. Taking personal responsibility for what you eat is a part of inducing change.
ReplyDeleteGreat positive blog; thanks for posting.
ReplyDeleteI have quite often gone 'I will work out, eat better and lose weight' but then not see myself doing it after a couple of days. You need to REALLY WANT to lose weight to be able to do it and see it to the end. Find a reason for it and keep going, otherwise you will fail.
ReplyDeleteA positive attitude and a support team have helped me get the best fitness stuff... A workout buddy can be great. That way you guys can keep each other in check. Nothing is more important than accountability. That's all.

ReplyDeleteLosing weight for most people is not easy. In fact, it’s pretty damn hard.
ReplyDeleteKeeping a positive attitude is truly half the battle. I hope you guys find a way to make it through it. Power to you! Power to everyone!

ReplyDeleteYou're right, people have to make that conscious decision to lose weight and look inside themselves for that extra motivation needed to get started.
